The development of content, methdological and eveluation criteria for Latvian school of public administration




Project objectives

With the aim of developing the content, methodological and evaluation criteria for the joint training module “Entrepreneurship and economics", the Latvian School of Public Administration involved “Dynamic University” Ltd. as a result of a price survey. The project was financed by the European Social Fund project Nr.Nr.3.4.2.0/15/I/001 "The professional development of the public administrations human resources in the support of small and medium businesses" (hereinafter – ESF project for professional development of the public administration). The project was carried out between October and December 2016.

Project solutions and results

The task was to provide support and advice to the Latvian School of Public Administration in the development of a technical specification for an extensive training module procurement. Completion of the work resulted in the following deliverables:
  1. The implementation time plan of the set tasks;
  2. Dictionary of the most commonly used terms in the learning process;
  3. The methodology of the study process;
  4. Qualification requirements for the adult educators and experts;
  5. The recommendations for tender evaluation criteria.
The main goal of the ESF project for professional development of the public administration is to provide Latvian public administration with the necessary competences for understanding the contributing factors to business growth and the legal aspects of the related processes. It aims to improve public services and legal framework to mitigate administrative burden, support the development of entrepreneurship, and stimulate business competitiveness as well as sustainability.
