PROJECT OBJECTIVES

With aim to produce project application and annexes for specific objectives 8.2.2. and 8.2.3. Riga Stradins University and Ventspils University College involved LLC ‘Dynamic University’.

During the following 5 years in Latvia for the quality, effectiveness and international competitiveness in higher education several EU funded specific objective programs will be carried out, including:

• 8.2.2. To strengthen academic staff of higher education institutions in strategic specialisation areas (hereinafter – SO 8.2.2.);
• 8.2.3. To Ensure Better Governance in Higher Education Institutions (hereinafter – SO 8.2.3.)

PROJECT SOLUTIONS AND RESULT

Within the framework of the project LLC ‘Dynamic University’ provided consultation and support services for development of SO 8.2.2. and SO 8.2.3. project application and its annexes, including the production of separate application parts.

The production of application and annexes for SO 8.2.2. included the following parts:

• Project description;
• Measure, action plan for development of academic personnel;
• Applying and selection criteria for doctoral students, foreign academic personnel, higher education institutions involvement in project activities, as well as employers that provide traineeship vacancies in order of selection.

The production of application and annexes for SO 8.2.3. included the following parts:

• Project description;
• Work program;
• Study plan.

Project was developed in time period from 2018’th February ‘till June of 2018. Project application and its annexes, consultation and support services, including planning, risk assessment, involved parties’ coordination actions were done in accordance with professionalism of the expert team of LLC ‘Dynamic University’ and the best practices of the field.
