Dynamic University supports the project “University-Business Cooperation Through Success Stories”

19.08.2014
The project “University-Business Cooperation Through Success Stories” (hereinafter – UBC) is coordinated by the “Knowledge Triangle Network” and it is implemented with the financial support from Nordplus Horizontal and DPA SQUALIO. The objective of the UBC is to promote cooperation between research and education institutions and the private sector, providing examples of a successful cooperation resulting in mutual benefits.

Within the framework of this project, in an assembly held on 20 March 2014 the UBC project partners from Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Norway presented their success stories to an audience consisting of the representatives from higher education institutions, governmental and non-governmental organisations as well as employers' associations and business environment. At the closure of the assembly, Līna Dzene on behalf of the association Knowledge Triangle Network as the UBC project organiser urged others also to submit their examples of successful cooperation stories.

Since the assembly, almost 20 new stories of successful cooperation between higher education institutions and businesses have been submitted and discussions are ongoing with other higher education institutions in the Nordic countries and the Baltic States as well. The collection of success stories will be supplemented until October 2014 and will result in a production of a paper presenting the most valuable findings and containing all the submitted success stories.

Higher education institutions can submit their success stories on the UBC web site at: here.

More detailed information about the project is available at the UBC project web site at: http://www.university-business.net/
